National Trust Resources

Because of all the recent flooding…. here are some National Trust resources.
1.      A free, downloadable National Trust publication entitled “Treatment of Flood-Damaged Older and Historic Buildings”:  http://www.preservationnation.org/resources/technical-assistance/flood-recovery/additional-resources/flood-book/Flood-Damage.pdf.
3.      Preserve America publication entitled, “Preparing to Preserve: An Action Plan to Integrate Historic Preservation into Tribal, State, and Local Emergency Management Plans,” is particularly relevant to THPOs:  http://www.doi.gov/oepc/12-18-08%20Preparing%20To%20Preserve.pdf.
We also have a small amount of available grant money through our Intervention Fund that provides assistance to historic properties affected by natural disasters.  The application works on a rolling deadline.  People can contact me directly for more information on the grant program.
Thanks in advance for your help!
