Secretary of State Linda McCulloch would like to invite you to join her in celebration at the official unveiling of her next Montana Treasured Artist at the State Capitol here in Helena. Every four months, Secretary McCulloch selects a uniquely talented Montana artist to feature in a rotating exhibit in the front lobby of the Secretary of State’s Office.
On Tuesday, May 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.,she will unveil The next Treasured Artist, Shelle Lindholm, a Kalispell native whose inspiration for her unique method of acrylic painting comes from direct observation of wildlife just outside her studio door. A reception will follow in the Secretary of State’s conference room.
“I launched this exhibit to celebrate artists whose work is tied to our Treasure State,” Secretary McCulloch said. “This next exhibit celebrates Montana wildlife, and provides a taste of some of the exquisiteness our state has to offer.”
Past Montana Treasured Artist exhibits are featured in an online gallery at sos.mt.gov/Gallery.
This event is open to the public so feel free to pass it on. Please see the attached invitation for additional reception information. Hope to see you there!
