Measuring the Impact of Operating Support

Measuring the Impact of Operating Support

Many grant makers struggle with the question of how to measure
the impact of operating support grants – flexible awards that
provide unrestricted funding for nonprofit organizations. A report
from Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO) explores
this measurement dilemma, suggesting ways that grant makers
might assess how operating support grants affect recipient organizations
as well as the communities they serve. To learn more,
download General Operating Support, Vol. 2: Assessing the Impact from the GEO
Web site. (Free registration is required.) http://www.geofunders.org/home.aspx
