Foundation Center Available On-Line at the Bozeman Library

Hello Fellow Non-profits!
I wanted to send a reminder about a very important service the Bozeman Public Library provides for organizations just like us: the Foundation Center database. I’m sure many of you are like me at this time of the year – hoping to make budget, struggling with upcoming budgets, and working on programs for 2011. A great tool to help with this is right here in the Library – one of only five libraries in the state to host the Foundation Center, free to the public.
Stop by and check it out. It’s worth it.

The Foundation Center helps grantseekers, grantmakers, researchers, policymakers, the media, and the general public better understand the field of philanthropy. Their web site http://www.foundationcenter.org/ is available free for you to use here in the Library and is designed to guide you quickly to the information you are looking for, including instruction on funding research, help with proposal writing, and tools for locating prospective funders. Stop by the Reference Desk on the second floor to find out more about the Foundation Center and its website.
