Graham Foundation: 2017 Call for Applications – Grants to Individuals

The Graham Foundation is now accepting applications for their 2017 Grants to Individuals. Since 1956, the organization has provided direct funding to individuals to produce publications, exhibitions, films, research, and other projects that foster the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society. To apply for an individual grant, applicants must submit an Inquiry Form-the first stage of a two-stage application process.

Tourism Grant Program Opens for Fiscal Year 2017

Montana county and city governments, tribal governments, nonprofit organizations, and private businesses are eligible to receive a grant. Match requirements apply and vary depending on the type of applicant. There is no deadline to apply; applications will be accepted continually and awarded as funds become available.

The Nude Figure

Jurors Paul DuSold and Scott Noel look to assemble a survey of contemporary responses to the nude to illuminate resonances between traditions of imagining the figure and the artist’s personal experience. The theme of mirroring is a metaphor for the persistence of the nude as a theme in art and our shared visual understandings of the body. Artwork in all media is welcomed.

Audition for Tarzan the State Musical

Bring out your best Tarzan call of the jungle, because the Missoula Community Theatre, in conjunction with Mismo Gymnastics, is holding an open audition for Tarzan the Stage Musical. Actors, singers, dancers, and gymnasts age 10 and up are needed play the approximately 30 roles in Tarzan the Stage Musical.

International Performing Arts Camp 2016

Performing Arts Camp is the international residential workshop for performing arts practitioners from different countries working in various techniques, genres and styles. Helena InterArts Summer Workshop

"In 2010, there were 125 copyright Examiners in the Registration Program (including the Literary Division, the Performing Arts Division, and the Visual Arts Division). In 2015, the number of copyright Examiners had decreased to 73 – a forty percent reduction.
