Billings MT- Billings Symphony Chorale auditions for the 2105-2016 season are set for Monday, August 10th and Monday, August 17th. Audition Times begin at 7 p.m. at Cecil Hall at MSU-Billings. AFTERIMAGE MAGAZINE SEEKS ARTICLE SUBMISSIONS

Afterimage seeks submissions, particularly for exhibition and book reviews. In its fourth decade of publication, Afterimage is a journal at the cutting edge of contemporary media arts (including independent photography, film/video, and digital art), communication and media studies, and alternative publishing that also publishes some of the most significant historical studies in these fields. No entry fee.

Levitt Pavilions announces an exciting grant opportunity serving small to mid-sized towns and cities across the country. 10 grantees will be awarded up to $25K each in matching funds to produce their own Levitt AMP [Your City] Music Series-an outdoor, free concert series featuring a diverse line up of high caliber entertainment for all ages to enjoy. SEATTLE PUBLIC UTILITIES IS EXPANDING ITS PORTABLE WORKS COLLECTION

The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, in partnership with Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) will purchase artworks that represent the experience of communities of color, and of immigrant and refugee communities for SPU’s Portable Works Collection. We invite artists to submit images of available work for direct purchase. All types of 2D artworks will be considered: abstract, pictorial, figurative, representational, etc. The artwork may also reflect social issues: environmental, ecological, and cultural heritage.

PUBLIC ART OPPORTUNITY AT SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

As part of the Airport’s north side construction program, an observation park is being planned at the corner of Palm Street and Admiral Boland Way. The park is envisioned as a multi-faceted space in an urban context. It will increase the appeal of the newly landscaped area of Pacific Highway for pedestrians and provide the public with a unique site from which to observe aircrafts approaching and departing the Airport’s runway.
