  1. Agree with the poster who said most meetings are a waste of time. While working together is a good idea the problem with meetings is those with good ideas may not necessarily be the ones who can explain or communicate them convincingly in meetings.

    Lots of good managers just go manage the issues and do not really try to influence in meetings where there boss is present. They prefer to let the boss set the agenda.

    Perhaps this flaw is learned over time by good managers.
